We were given a special preview and test drive before the MIAS launch and no it’s not just a simple facelift, it is now a totally brand-new crossover.

The Titanium variant will now serve as the entry, and it carries notable differences from the Titanium X such as the exterior wheel size and design, as well as the interior colors, but there is also a big difference in terms of specifications added to warrant the “X” in the Territory Titanium X’s name.
On the inside, the Territory now gets an interior upgrade, with soft touchpoints all throughout, a two-tone leather interior, namely black and blue for the Titanium variant, and white and anthracite for the Titanium X variant. Both variants also get wood trimming as standard for a more classy look. A panoramic moonroof is standard for the Titanium X variant.
On the technology side of things, both variants also get dual-zone climate control along with physical controls with haptic touch for ease of use. The infotainment system also gets an upgrade with a 12-inch central touchscreen that includes wireless Apple Carplay, Android Auto, and a seven-inch digital instrument cluster for the Titanium variant and a 12-inch instrument cluster for the Titanium X variant. A rotary e-shifter is also present, which makes for a cleaner and more minimalist interior. The crossover also gets wireless charging along with USB-C and USB-A charging ports.
Safety and convenience are governed by a host of features with active park assist, 360-degree cameras, blind spot information system (BLIS) with rear cross-traffic alert, autonomous emergency braking (AEB) with pedestrian detection, and adaptive cruise control (ACC) with stop & go which is found exclusively on the Titanium X variant.
Power comes from an updated 1.5-liter engine that now makes 158 hp and 248 Nm of torque mated to a seven-speed DCT. This delivers a much-improved performance and smoother power delivery. The powertrain can also be controlled with four selectable drive modes, namely eco, normal, sport, and mountain to suit any driving style.
The next-generation Ford Territory is now on sale and is available in six different colors, namely Blue Metallic, CrystalPearl White (exclusive to Titanium X), Lustrous Grey, Panther Black, Ruby Red (exclusive to Titanium), and Star White (exclusive to Titanium). It is priced at P1,335,000 for the Titanium while the Titanium X is available at P1,599,000.
