Hyundai Motor Philippines, Inc. (HMPH) celebrates a triple milestone with the opening of Hyundai Makati.
Situated on the automotive strip of Chino Roces Avenue Extension, the new dealership is just a few meters away from EDSA, making it easy to find and easily accessible, especially for customers coming from the city’s Central Business District.
The new location features a showroom that can accommodate up to five vehicle displays. The service area is quite sizeable as well, with 1,167 square meters with up to six work bays for normal cars, and up to two for electric vehicles.
One of the milestones is tied to electric vehicles in the form of the two service bays that are installed at Hyundai Makati. The Gateway group is the partner HMPH for this branch in the country, and not only does it mark the first time that the Gateway Group has had a Hyundai dealership, but this new location will also mark the first-ever EV service center for the Philippines.

Hyundai Motor Philippines, Inc. (HMPH) celebrates a triple milestone with the opening of Hyundai Makati.
Situated on the automotive strip of Chino Roces Avenue Extension, the new dealership is just a few meters away from EDSA, making it easy to find and easily accessible, especially for customers coming from the city’s Central Business District.

On top of that, the showroom is also the first in the Asia-Pacific region to adhere to the all-new Hyundai Global Dealership Space Identity 2.0 (GDSI 2.0).
Hyundai Makati is the first of five authorized EV dealerships in the country, and as a part of the brand’s push into transitioning to fully-electric mobility, bannered by the IONIQ 5, Hyundai Makati along with more dealers in the near future will spearhead the country’s acceptance and change over to sustainable motoring.
As a part of the electric movement, Hyundai Makati will also be home to a 22kW AC charging station and a 50kW DC charging station. The latter is a fast charger that allows the car to reach 80 percent from 20 percent battery in as little as 30 minutes.
For the other dealers that you can expect to accommodate EVs, Alabang, Cebu North, Pampanga, and Pasig will also be equipped with the proper facilities for EVs by 2023—this year.
