Suzuki has finally answered your prayers and will now provide the S-Presso with its own Auto Gear Shift (AGS) transmission, an automated manual transmission. This new AGS variant now gives buyers an option between a manual and an automatic, opening up a new market for this quirky vehicle as well as making the S-Presso the perfect city runabout.
The AGS transmission is a clutchless manual transmission that shifts the gears for you and is a different mechanism from your traditional automatic transmission. AGS is also found on other Suzuki models across the lineup.

Powertrain remains unchanged with the same Dualjet 1.0-liter, three-cylinder making 66 hp and 90 Nm of torque. It may not sound like a lot, but it is more than enough to pull its lightweight body and give off very impressive fuel-economy numbers of up to 25 km/L
Suzuki Auto PH is now opening reservations for the S-Presso AGS at all of its dealerships nationwide, and we can also expect increased sales due to this new variant.
The Suzuki S-Presso now starts at P620,000 for the base manual transmission variant and P660,000 for the AGS variant.
