This 2023, we can expect another player in the market, as OMODA sets its sights on launching later this year. While we’re waiting, it’s time to get to know the OMODA brand a little better.

The “O” in OMODA indicates surprise, positivity, and energy. It also is derived from the symbol of Oxygen, a necessary element of life.

OMODA 5

Judging from the current impression that the brand has given us, the OMODA 5 seems to tick all the right boxes, at least with regard to OMODA’s name. The brand also states that it’s aimed at the youthful and trendy driver.

Omoda’s Global Research and Development team conducted over 1000 researches in 20 countries, including ours, with the intention to create a vehicle that meets the expectations from the usual SUV – and more. The first product to be introduced to the Philippines, the Omoda 5, will integrate the characteristics of vehicles from different categories – the space of an MPV, the chassis of an SUV and the handling [plus the] comfort of a sedan.

On top of that, OMODA equips its cabins with huge screens. Dual 10.25-inch screens will make up the infotainment system and the gauge cluster, while OMODA’s 4.0 human-machine interface system and Advance Driver Assistance System will also be a part of the equation. Up to 16 safe driving functions will be included to form a comprehensive intelligent technology system.

Again, the launch of OMODA is coming quite soon. In the latter part of 2023, we can expect the OMODA 5 to be the brand’s first product. We’re expecting more news from the OMODA team soon, so stay tuned.
