H0810001 Minaliit ng Amo Bumalik na Milyonaryo! part2

When Hyundai Philippines officially relaunched under new management in the latter half of 2022, it brought a refreshed lineup of vehicles. While older models such as the Accent and Kona were phased out, new models such as the Creta and the Hyundai Stargazer were brought in to fill the gaps. The Hyundai Creta is the brand’s entry-level crossover that delivers in terms of features and specifications. However, what was unknown until now was its safety rating.

The ASEAN New Car Assessment Program (NCAP) tested the Creta revealing some interesting results as it scored a perfect five stars across assessments in Adult Occupant Protection (AOP), Child Occupant Protection (COP), Safety Assists, and Motorcyclist Safety (MS).

Based on its crash test data, the Hyundai Creta was able to provide good protection for adults during the frontal impact test, however, its side impact test was satisfactory at best. This results in 34.72 out of a possible 40 points in the adult occupant protection category.

For its child occupant protection category, the Creta also scored well in its impact tests as well as with its child seat installation test on its ISOFIX anchors. This resulted in a score of 15.56 out of a possible 20 points for the crossover.

Thanks to its impressive Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), the Hyundai Creta was able to score 14.08 out of a possible 20 thanks to having these features. The model tested also came with electronic stability control (ESC), an anti-lock braking system (ABS), seatbelt reminder (SBR) for frontal occupants, and pedestrian protection technology.

The model tested also came with electronic stability control (ESC), an anti-lock braking system (ABS), seatbelt reminder (SBR) for frontal occupants, and pedestrian protection technology.

To further bolster its safety score, the Creta also offers blind spot detection and rear cross-traffic alert, which helps in motorcycle collision avoidance. This feature netted the Creta 11.42 out of 20 in the Motorcyclist Safety assessment.

For its overall score, the Hyundai Creta was able to get 75,78 out of a possible 100 which qualifies it for a five-star rating for the 2021 to 2025 ASEAN NCAP tests.
