Jetour Philippines’ models are now out in the open and ready for primetime in the country. The Chinese brand is set to make its official public debut in April at MIAS 2023, but the models have just been unveiled along with some of the brand’s plans for the future.
As a member of the Chery group, Jetour has a ton of technologies and facilities at its disposal to make world-class vehicles. The brand is being brought into the country by two of the country’s biggest dealership groups, the Gateway Group, and AutoSpeedyGo.
Jetour Philippines stated that it will establish at least six dealerships in its first year, with locations set to rise in cities like Manila, Alabang, Quezon City, and San Juan in the National Captial Region (NCR), and Cebu in the Visayas plus Davao in Mindanao.
There will be three nameplates coming into the country, the QQ Ice Cream EV, the X70 and its variants, and the Dashing.
The first and smallest model in the lineup is the QQ Ice Cream EV. The price of this model will be set at P699,000, and it will mark its territory as the most affordable EV in the Philippines. With two doors, four seats, and just 27 horsepower with 85 Nm of torque out of its single electric motor, and a top speed of 100 km/h, it presents an affordable and electric mobility solution for the masses. Customers can expect the model to go up to 170 kilometers on a single charge. The vehicle rides on 12-inch steel wheels, and it also features a simple interior, but with a reverse camera as standard.

Less spartan is the X70 nameplate, in which there are three variants that are available, the X70 Journey, the X70 Travel, X70 Sport, and the X70 Plus. All models may have the same name and are based on the same platform, but there are big differences between them.
The X70 Journey is the entry-level crossover in the lineup. Even with its compact crossover dimensions, it’s able to seat up to 7 individuals, and it comes powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine that makes 156 hp and 230 m of torque mated to a CVT. The price for the Journey is set at P1,099,000.
Meanwhile, its snazzier brother the X70 Travel. Still a seven-seater, but now with a more premium look to it. The model is based on the same platform as the Journey variant, but it gets larger wheels and a panoramic sunroof. The X70 Sport gets an interior upgrade with brown leather and a power tailgate on top of that. Prices for the X70 Travel are P1,259,000 while the Sport is priced at P1,299,000.
Even higher up the ladder, we have the Jetour X70 Plus. This model still uses the same platform as the other X70s with the same engine, but the CVT is replaced with a seven-speed wet DCT. Hydraulic power steering makes way for an electronic unit. The Plus model is priced at P1,499,000, and for that price, you’re getting 20-inch wheels, dual screens, an electronic parking brake, a panoramic sunroof, power seats with heating and cooling, a power tailgate, and tons more features.
Finally, we have the Jetour Dashing. The five-seater’s a compact crossover that has some very forward-thinking styling. The model is definitely going to be an eye-catcher for many buyers with its LED DRLs making a very mean face. Pop-out door handles are also a part of the package, and the model is powered by a 1.5-liter turbo engine with 156 hp and 230 Nm of torque mated to a six-speed dual-clutch transmission that’s augmented by drive modes. The price for this model is set at P1,329,000.
On top of all of that, all of the Jetour vehicles will come with a six-year warranty which has unlimited mileage and is comprehensive. On top of that Jetour also has a 10-year engine warranty that covers all of the models with an internal combustion engine.
