H0410006 HR INTERVIEWER, MAY PINAPABORAN Nandaya Para sa Babaeng Type Niya! part2

Cavitex Infrastructure Corporation (CIC), a subsidiary of Metro Pacific Tollways (MPTC) has recently signed a deal with China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) to construct the Cavitex-C5 Link segment 2.

In their press release, MPTC said that CIC and CRBC aim to start construction of the project in the first quarter of the year. This portion of the expressway is 1.9 km long, spans six lanes, and will connect Cavitex R-1 from the Parañaque Toll Plaza to Sucat via the R-1 interchange. According to MPTC, this new road will reduce travel time from Sucat Road to Cavitex R-1 and vice versa by 10 minutes.

“The CAVITEX C5 Link is a vital segment of the Manila-Cavite Toll Expressway Project (MCTEP). So far, we managed to open 3.8 kilometers to the motoring public, serving more than 16,000 vehicles daily. Still, we have a long way to go. This is something we cannot do alone, hence, our search for a contractor that would be up to the task of delivering world-class quality infrastructure for our motorists within our timeline. We are glad that our new partner CRBC took on the challenge.”

Once finished, the Cavitex-C5 Link project will span 7.7km and will connect Cavitex R-1 to C5 in Taguig. The new road network is projected to serve 40,000 vehicles regularly and will decongest city traffic. The expressway project which costs P12.645 billion will connect major business districts in the Makati and Taguig area to Cavite, Paranaque, and Las Piñas.
