This includes the new K10C three-cylinder engine, a few styling upgrades, and the idle start/stop feature. The updates are pretty minor with additional features being the only things added into the mix.
If you’re up to date and informed about Suzuki’s lineup, you will know that the S-Presso shares a similar platform to the Celerio. Thus, features and componentry look to be interchangeable between the two. Among the two models in the country, the Celerio is the more feature-packed of the two with a manual and an auto gear shift (AGS) transmission option being available. For the Celerio as well, the idle start/stop function is available and is something that the S-Presso has adopted for itself in the Indonesian market.
The addition of the AGS transmission is a considerable lineup update for the S-Presso if ever the upgraded version were to make it here in the Philippines. Suzuki Philippines only offers the five-speed manual transmission here, leaving buyers who want the convenience of a two-pedal vehicle to ignore the S-Presso.

If the AGS model were to be added to the Philippine lineup, we could also see the same safety features that are present in the Indonesian model come to our shores, namely the hill hold control (AGS only) and electronic stability program or stability control for short. The Indonesian market even gets steering wheel controls, a feature that we’re hoping would come to the country’s Suzuki lineup.
We may expect the new S-Presso soon enough. With a bunch of trade shows like the 2023 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) slated for this year, it’s quite possible that Suzuki Philippines could pull something with one of its quirkiest models.
